Apart from great architecture, Mirogoj is a monument to tolerance, what can be proud of very small number of towns. The cemetery was divided by religions on an equal fields with the prohibition of the construction fence. The magnificent series of Mirogoj dome rising above the city carries equal religious characteristics: Catholic cross, Orthodox cross, the Jewish star; and domes are different and form - the semicircular Catholic and Orthodox slightly pointed.
